GamerScout Verdict
Solid for laid-back split-screen play with a partner, but don't expect challenging combat or replayability.

About Hazelight Bundle
I went in expecting arcade-style co-op thrills, and what I got was more like interactive movies you play through with a friend. The Hazelight Bundle bundles two action-adventure titles built around two-player cooperation, with both games leaning heavily on narrative and set-pieces over complex combat systems. Split-screen co-op is the draw here, and on that front it delivers, nothing beats couch co-op when the game actually supports it natively, which most modern releases don't bother with anymore. The catch: these are slow burns. Combat feels serviceable rather than sharp, and puzzle-solving is basic enough that most of the runtime is watching cutscenes and walking between action beats. If you're chasing that four-player tournament vibe, this isn't it. But if you want a chill weekend where you and one friend can blast through a story together without needing to coordinate online lobbies or deal with lag, the bundle scratches that itch. Fair warning though, you're buying for the co-op accessibility, not for mechanical mastery.
