HARWELL: Mars Industries
A scrappy multiplayer economy sim where you're competing against real players for Mars resources, bribes, and market control, no NPC safety net.

About HARWELL: Mars Industries
I've spent enough time in Paradox grand strategies to recognize when a game is betting everything on player-driven emergent chaos, and Harwell commits to that fully. You're managing a Mars colony resource chain while simultaneously outbidding rivals, manipulating the Trade Committee, and deciding whether diplomacy or sabotage pays better dividends. The economy is player-controlled; prices move based on what others do, not AI pricing tables. That creates genuine tension in your build orders and forces you to read the market like a spreadsheet with teeth. The catch: with a tiny playerbase, you're relying on consistent multiplayer matches to get the full loop. Single-player exists but loses the teeth that makes the economy interesting. If you can find an active table or a dedicated friend group willing to learn it together, Harwell scratches a specific itch, MMO economics without the combat grind. If you're looking for a solo campaign or casual drop-in matches, walk past. Diego, Scout Team
