GeoVox
A voxel terrain editor that lets you sculpt 3D environments in real-time, then play in them. Niche tool, but genuinely useful if you're building game worlds or concept art.
GamerScout Verdict
For game designers and 3D artists who need fast prototyping, skip if you're looking for a game.

About GeoVox
I'll be straight: GeoVox is a specialized tool, not a game in the traditional sense. It's a voxel-based terrain sculptor where you carve, paint, and generate landscapes with immediate visual feedback. The appeal is speed, you can build AAA-looking environments without wrestling with polygon modeling or complex 3D software. The real-time editing loop works, and the built-in level editor means you can actually load your creations and play around in them. The catch is the user base. This is made for level designers, educators, and artists who already understand what they're buying. If you're expecting Minecraft with better graphics or a game you'll sink 40 hours into, wrong shelf. But if you're prototyping game levels, teaching 3D design, or just want to doodle terrain without Blender's learning curve, it does the job cleanly. Niche, but solid at what it is.
