Gas Station Simulator

I've spent enough time in Paradox games to appreciate what Gas Station Simulator is doing in miniature: you inherit a broken pump, a leaky roof, and zero customers, then systematically renovate, staff, and expand until you've got a thriving convenience hub. It's light-years simpler than Capitalism or Two Point Hospital, but the feedback loop works. You buy supplies, set prices, hire attendants, and watch cash flow improve as you fix the station's rating. The UI is functional rather than pretty, and the pace is deliberately slow, there's no twitch element here, just management and micromanagement. The catch: at 72 on Metacritic, it's competent but thin. Progression plateaus faster than deeper sims, the AI staff are basic, and there's no multiplayer or sandbox variety to extend playtime beyond 10-15 hours if you're not the type to optimize every detail. It's ideal for someone who wants the satisfying hum of a working business without the learning cliff of actual strategy games, but don't expect depth.
