GamerScout Verdict
Essential for deckbuilder fans who want their positioning choices to matter as much as their card draws.

About Fogpiercer
Fogpiercer caught me off-guard. Most deckbuilders treat the board as scenery, but here the fog itself damages you, explosions chain into walls, and where you place a unit matters as much as what card you play. The roguelike structure keeps runs snappy, and the positioning puzzle elevates what could've been another Slay the Spire clone into something with genuine tactical teeth. Combat rewards both deck synergy and real-time spatial thinking. The tiny sample size (86 reviews) means I can't speak to long-term depth yet, but what's there feels intentional. No bloat, no filler encounters. If you want a deckbuilder that makes you think in two dimensions instead of one, this scratches that itch hard.
