GamerScout Verdict
Skip unless you're collecting early-BR casualties. The genre had moved on by launch day.

About Fear The Wolves
Fear the Wolves dropped in 2019 as Vostok Games' answer to the BR gold rush, and it landed with a thud. The core loop is familiar: 100 players, shrinking zone, last one standing wins. Movement feels clunky compared to competitors that were already refined by then, and the gunplay lacks the snappy feedback that keeps shooters sticky. Performance was rough on launch, netcode issues plagued early matches, and the weapon balance never settled into anything that felt competitive. By the time Vostok patched stability issues, the BR audience had already picked their poison. If you've got nostalgia for early-access survival shooters or you're hunting obscure multiplayer graveyard content, you might find something here. Otherwise, move on. Better options existed in 2019 and they still do now.
