Day of the Trumplings

I've played enough tower defense games to recognize when one's built on a joke rather than solid mechanics. Day of the Trumplings is exactly that: a single-premise political satire released in 2016, where you place defensive towers to stop cartoonish enemies from reaching the White House. The core loop exists, but there's almost no build variety, no difficulty scaling to speak of, and no reason to replay once the novelty wears off. If you're hunting for a strategy game with actual decision-making, this isn't it. If you want a five-minute political gag from a specific moment in time, it might land. The game respects neither genre convention nor newcomer patience - there's barely a tutorial, and the tower placement feels more like busywork than tactical choice.
