Bullet Girls Phantasia

I went in expecting fanservice window-dressing, but Bullet Girls Phantasia is actually straightforward: you pick a girl, equip assault rifles or bazookas, and mow through waves of slimes, orcs, and dragons in short missions. The shooting feels snappy enough for a budget title, and the variety of weapons keeps early runs fresh. No pretense about narrative or character depth, this is arcade action in a fantasy skin. The catch is that it wears thin fast. Mission structure is repetitive, enemy types are limited, and there's not much progression hook beyond unlocking new gear. It works fine as a palate cleanser between bigger games, but don't expect depth. If you want mindless third-person shooting with colorful anime girls and zero apologies for that premise, you'll get what you paid for. If you need narrative or mechanical complexity, keep moving.
