Blue Sky Aces
A stylized WWI flight sim that trades complexity for arcade thrills, tight dogfighting mechanics in a sub-5GB package, but don't expect a career progression system.

About Blue Sky Aces
I went in expecting another lo-fi sim, and Blue Sky Aces actually nails the close-range dogfighting loop. You're flying fragile WWI biplanes into tight encounters where positioning and energy management matter, stall at the wrong moment and you're done. The retro art style works well enough to keep things readable at speed, and the pacing keeps matches sharp. No lengthy unlock grind or bloated tech tree to navigate. The catch: this is a lean arcade experience, not a full flight career. There's no persistent progression, pilot customization, or campaign arc to speak of. Solo play against AI can feel repetitive after a few hours, and without meaningful difficulty scaling or mission variety, the appeal plateaus quickly. It's a solid weekend distraction if you want pure dogfighting reflexes, but don't expect depth. Diego, Scout Team
