I spent a couple hours with Babylonia expecting the usual match-3 grind, and that's exactly what I got - competent but unremarkable. You swap flower tiles to clear objectives, earn resources to unlock garden restoration upgrades, and repeat across bite-sized levels. The Babylon setting is window dressing; the actual loop is pure match-3 formula with no mechanical twists to differentiate it from dozens of free-to-play competitors. The art is pleasant enough, and level difficulty ramps steadily, but there's no strategic depth here beyond pattern recognition. Casual players who want a low-stakes puzzle game to zone out with will find comfort in its simplicity. Strategy enthusiasts like myself will finish the campaign in a sitting and move on.
