If you are already in deep with Automobilista 2, this Season Pass is the single smartest way to bulk out your garage and calendar with iconic real-world venues and seriously diverse car classes.

I have a simple test for any racing DLC bundle: open the track list, count the circuits I have actually watched a real crash happen on, and see how excited I get. The 2020-2022 Season Pass clears that bar with room to spare. You are getting six premium track packs covering Hockenheim, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, and Barcelona, each delivered with multiple layout variants spanning different eras. Spa alone ships with a 1970 version that is basically 14 kilometres of terrifying tarmac without barriers, alongside the 1993 chicane layout and the modern 2020 configuration. Silverstone comes with four distinct versions across different decades. For a circuit nerd, this stuff is genuinely thrilling. Beyond the premium tracks, the pass bundles in major expansion content including the Racin' USA packs, which bring modern GTP and GT3 machinery alongside classic IndyCar open-wheelers and their matching American circuits. The Brazilian Racing Legends pack adds historically significant Formula cars tied to Brazil's motorsport heritage, while the Historical Track Pack delivers classic 1980s circuits from around the world. The Adrenaline Pack rounds things out with something different altogether. In total you are looking at well over a dozen new venues with historical variants, and a car roster that crosses multiple classes and decades. It is a lot. Now, the honest part. The Season Pass labelling is genuinely confusing, and the community has been vocal about it. The title says 2020-2022, but some content dropped into 2023, and what is or is not included versus newer standalone DLC has sent more than a few players staring at the Steam store page trying to do maths. Reiza has since done some housekeeping to consolidate the DLC structure, but if you are buying this expecting it to be a complete all-time pass for everything AMS2 will ever release, it is not. Newer packs such as the Formula HiTech content, the Le Mans circuit, and ongoing Lamborghini and Endurance packs are separate. Go in with clear expectations. As a platform, AMS2 itself is in a strong place right now. The base game sits at 90% positive across thousands of Steam reviews, the physics have matured considerably through major updates, and the force feedback on a direct drive or belt-drive wheel is one of the better feeling experiences in PC sim racing right now. Controller support exists and is functional, though this is not a kart racer you fire up with a gamepad and four mates on the couch. This is a dedicated sim, and the Season Pass is aimed squarely at players already committed to that experience. If you own a wheel, enjoy solo championship modes or online league racing, and want to stop cherry-picking individual DLC packs, the Season Pass is the efficient option. If you are on a pad and just want a fun racing game for evenings, the base AMS2 content is probably enough to explore first before committing to a large bundle. Riley, Scout Team
