About Astrotour VR
I'll be straight with you: Astrotour VR is a VR experience masquerading as a game, and that's where its problems start. You go through astronaut registration, board a spaceship, and visit planets with narrated information about their real properties. The concept is solid for educational content or a museum piece, but there's almost no interactivity beyond pointing and clicking through menus. You're not piloting anything, making decisions about trajectory, managing resources, or even choosing which planets to visit in a meaningful way. It's on-rails tourism. For a 2020 indie VR title, the scope is reasonable, but execution is hollow. The planet information is accurate but could be read from Wikipedia. There's no simulation layer, no challenge, no reason to replay. If you want educational VR, there are better options. If you want space exploration gameplay, you need something with actual systems. This falls between both chairs. Diego, Scout Team
