Ants! Mission of the Salvation trades real-time pressure for turn-based deliberation. You're essentially playing Lemmings with an ant colony: route units through levels, manage limited resources, and solve spatial puzzles that escalate from "obvious" to "I need graph paper." The pace is genuinely slow, which sounds like a weakness until you realize it forces you to think three moves ahead instead of mashing buttons. The visuals are disarmingly charming, all pastel aesthetics and baked-good vibes, but don't let that fool you into underestimating the puzzle design. This is indie strategy at its most niche: no multiplayer, no procedural generation, just 2018-era level design that respects your intelligence without holding your hand. The achievement system gives completionists actual teeth-grinders to chase.
