Allison's Diary: Rebirth
A first-person horror game about investigating a family tragedy, but the execution falls short of the premise's potential.

About Allison's Diary: Rebirth
I picked up Allison's Diary: Rebirth expecting a narrative-driven horror experience, and what I found was a game with interesting bones but shallow mechanics. You're exploring a house to uncover what happened the night Allison killed her parents, moving through dark corridors and solving basic puzzles. The survival angle is underdeveloped - darkness is more aesthetic than mechanic, and exploration feels like busywork rather than discovery. There's a story here, but it doesn't grip hard enough to carry six hours of wandering. The game works best if you keep expectations low and treat it as a narrative vignette rather than a full survival experience. No Steam reviews means limited feedback, and the 2018 release date shows - UI is clunky, atmosphere is inconsistent. Pick this up only if you're specifically hunting indie horror oddities and don't mind rough edges. Everyone else should skip it. Diego, Scout Team
