Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis
Fifteen hours of Imperial law, a Judge-Dredd-adjacent new companion, and three Arbitrator subclasses dropped into one of the meatiest CRPGs of the decade. Worth it if you already own the base game.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Essential for first and second playthroughs; a harder sell for veterans reluctant to restart a 100-hour campaign just to meet one new companion.

Acerca de Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis
I've spent more hours than I care to admit in the Koronus Expanse, and Lex Imperialis is the expansion that reminded me why this universe is so compelling in the first place. The base game already asks you to wear many hats as a Rogue Trader - feudal lord, void captain, reluctant heretic - and now Owlcat adds a sixteenth-century-magistrate-meets-space-cop layer on top of all of it. The headline addition is the Adeptus Arbites origin and its three specializations. Vigilant leans into medium-range shotgun play, which fits the grim procedural aesthetic perfectly. Castigator is the more interesting pick for character-build enthusiasts: it weaponizes Fellowship and Willpower stats to apply debuffs, making social-build playthroughs feel genuinely combat-viable rather than a novelty. Subductor covers crowd-control territory and rounds out a trio that gives returning players real motivation to replay earlier chapters. Alongside those subclasses comes Solomorne Anthar, the new companion, who slots in as early as Chapter 1 on Rykad Minoris. He is as unbending as the institution he represents, which creates satisfying friction if your Rogue Trader is playing the Iconoclast angle. The base game's companion roster already leaned heavily Dogmatic, and the Steam community has been pointing that out for a while - Solomorne does nothing to correct the imbalance, which is a fair criticism worth flagging if you run Heretical builds. The 15-hour storyline puts the Grand Harvesting and the Imperial Tithe at its center. The writing stays sharp. Choices made in the Lex Imperialis quests ripple across Chapters 1 through 4 in ways that feel structurally tidier than some of the base game's more sprawling side arcs. The Convictions system - where being Dogmatic, Iconoclast, or Heretical shifts the dialogue and outcome pool - plugs cleanly into the new content. Owlcat has learned something important here: DLC that threads through the main campaign rather than quarantining itself in a side area respects the player's investment far more than their earlier Pathfinder-era expansions did. The battle Familiars, cybernetic eagles and cyber-mastiffs among them, add a small but flavourful mechanical wrinkle to combat without threatening to unbalance the already intricate turn-based grid. The criticisms are real but narrow. If your playthrough is already deep into the late chapters, the new companion's integration loses some of its narrative weight since he's designed around early-game recruitment. Combat balance in the base game has attracted repeated criticism for enemy sponging in later acts, and while Lex Imperialis does not fix that systemic issue, it does not aggravate it either. Veterans who have already exhausted the base game face the honest question of whether they want to restart an 80-plus-hour CRPG to properly experience content spread across four chapters. For a first or second playthrough, that question answers itself.
