That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles - Season Pass (DLC)

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is an action-RPG spinoff built around the popular isekai anime, letting you play through original stories set inside the Jura Tempest Federation alongside characters like Rimuru, Shion, Benimaru, and the rest of the familiar cast. The Season Pass bundles additional DLC content on top of the base game, extending the time you spend in Tempest with new scenarios, characters, or missions depending on what each content drop delivers. If you came here because you watched the anime and want more time with these characters in an interactive format, that is essentially the pitch.

The core game sits in well-worn action-RPG territory. Combat is real-time, character-action adjacent, built around switching between party members and chaining skills tied to each unit's abilities from the show. Fans will recognize moves and personality beats that feel faithful to the source material. The Season Pass presumably adds more of that, which means if the base game clicked for you, more scenarios and playable content is a reasonable extension of that investment.

The problem is the mixed reception. A 55 percent positive rating across several hundred Steam reviews is not a number you can hand-wave away. Common friction points in spinoffs like this tend to be repetitive mission structure, thin enemy variety, and a progression loop that does not hold up once the novelty of seeing animated characters in 3D wears off. Without knowing exactly what each Season Pass chapter delivers, there is a real question of whether additional content addresses those structural problems or simply adds more hours of the same loop.
