No. The SCUM Male Hair Pack is a pure cosmetic add-on for the open-world survival game SCUM, stacking 16 hairstyles, 7 beards, and 7 moustaches into your character creation and barber trader menus. That's the whole thing. No new mechanics, no gear, no gameplay hooks. What Gamepires has delivered here is genuine visual range. The style list runs from slicked-back pompadours to mutton chops to options like "The Douche" and "The Royale" that land somewhere between absurd and legitimately cool. The 80s action-hero end of the catalogue fits SCUM's grimy prison-island tone better than you'd expect. The barber trader integration is useful - you're not locked into your creation-screen choice, so you can change your look mid-game at a safe zone, which matters if your squad has a running joke about matching hairstyles on a PvP server. The criticism is obvious and I won't bury it: this is cosmetic DLC that costs real money for content that has no effect on the survival or combat loop. SCUM's base character creator already gives you solid customization options, so the incremental value here is narrow. Steam reviews sit at 86% positive across a small sample, which reads less as enthusiasm and more as "it does what it says on the tin." If your server community is heavily into roleplay or screenshot-friendly character builds, the extra variety is genuinely appreciated. If you are here for the netcode, the PvP zones, and the gear progression, this does nothing for you. The only real decision is whether you care enough about your survivor's face to spend money on it. SCUM is the kind of game where you can spend an hour gearing up and lose everything in under a minute - attachment to your character's haircut is either a coping mechanism or a flex, depending on your squad.
