RACE On

RACE On is a straightforward sim racer from the days when SimBin was pushing realistic physics before iRacing and Assetto Corsa took over the genre. You get the full WTCC 2008 grid of touring cars plus a heap of US muscle machines across various real-world circuits. The driving model rewards smooth inputs and consistency, which is fun if you're into that precision feel, but the 2009 presentation means you're squinting at low-res textures and clunky menus by modern standards. Multiplayer was the draw back then, and it's still functional if you can find servers. Solo players have career and single-race modes, but the single-player AI hasn't aged well. This is pure niche territory now, skip it unless you're specifically hunting a mid-2000s sim experience or have a deep affection for WTCC 2008.
