Forza Horizon 4 -Expansions Bundle (DLC)

If you have sunk serious hours into Forza Horizon 4's British countryside and are looking for a reason to stay, this bundle hands you two very different reasons. Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions are the game's only major expansions, and grabbing them together is the sensible move for anyone planning to stick around. Fortune Island is the grittier of the two. It drops you onto a rugged, remote island north of the main map, loaded with craggy cliffs, hostile terrain, lightning storms, and aurora borealis lighting up your night races. The headline mechanic is a treasure hunt system, essentially a supercharged Barn Find where following riddle clues leads you to chests worth serious credits. It works well as a drip-feed of mystery between regular events. The expansion also introduces Trailblazer gates, a new PR stunt type that strips everything back to pure point-A-to-point-B speed with no fixed route, which plays brilliantly on Fortune Island's brutal elevation. Ten new vehicles unlock across the progression, including the Lamborghini Urus, Koenigsegg CC8S, and the Hoonigan Fiesta ST. Critics landed roughly around an 81 average across ten reviews, calling it "a great expansion with some of the best stretches of road in the series." The honest caveat: it is more Forza Horizon 4, just wilder and steeper, and it does not fundamentally change the formula the way Blizzard Mountain or Hot Wheels once did for FH3. Load screens between the island and the mainland are also a genuine annoyance. LEGO Speed Champions is the one that surprises you. LEGO Valley is a full new map packed with Brickchester (a proper LEGO city), the Falcon Speedway race circuit, the Super Mega Awesome Adventure Stunt Park, a pirate cove, and a UFO crash site. Yes, really. The driveable LEGO cars, a McLaren Senna, Ferrari F40 Competizione, and 1967 Mini Cooper S Rally, each with a Minifigure driver sitting inside, are exact recreations of real Speed Champions sets and they handle with Forza's proper physics. The LEGO Brick Challenge Campaign gives you 272 challenges that range from easy smash-and-grab stuff to longer grinds, all feeding into building a Master Builder's House and garage. It is an objectively weird direction for a prestige racing sim DLC, but it absolutely delivers the fun. Casual players and anyone who grew up on LEGO sets will get more out of it than hardened tuners who want more sim variety. One real criticism: the LEGO-ified aesthetic only goes so far. Grass is still grass, roads are still tarmac, and only Brickchester goes full brick. Veterans hoping for something as committed as the Hot Wheels expansion from FH3 will feel the gap. From a couch and accessibility standpoint, both expansions carry the same controller-friendly handling and assists as the base game. Gamepad players are completely at home, and wheel and pedal setups work fine if you have them. Neither expansion adds split-screen or new local co-op modes beyond what FH4 already offers, so the "four friends on one couch" scenario stays limited to FH4's standard shared-world online session. That said, both maps are chaotic and scenic enough that spectating is genuinely entertaining. Taken together, this bundle is the best value path to completing the Forza Horizon 4 experience. Fortune Island is for drift-hungry veterans who want punishing terrain. LEGO Speed Champions is for everyone who wants to spend an afternoon grinning at a brick-built Ferrari. Neither overstays its welcome, and the combination gives the base game a meaningful second wind.
