Tactical military cosmetics and weapons for Dying Light, including a permanent hypermode hammer that trivialises early combat. Style upgrade, not a content upgrade.

Let me be upfront: this is a cosmetic and gear bundle for Dying Light, not a story expansion, not a new zone, not a questline. The Harran Tactical Unit Bundle drops a full military-themed armor skin, a shotgun, a burst-fire rifle, and the centrepiece of the whole package - a Harran Tactical Unit Hammer with a permanent hypermode effect baked in. If you know Dying Light, you know hypermode turns your melee strikes into slow-motion, high-damage spectacle. Having that locked on permanently from the start changes the feel of early-game combat in a pretty significant way. For an RPG specialist like me, bundles like this live or die on whether they interact with the systems underneath them in any interesting way. The weapons here are pre-built with fixed stats, which means they bypass the crafting and upgrade loop that makes Dying Light's progression satisfying in the first place. The rifle's burst-fire mode is a functional variant you won't find on most base-game guns, which is a genuine mechanical wrinkle worth noting. The shotgun is serviceable but will eventually get outclassed by crafted alternatives. The hammer, though, earns its place because hypermode interacts directly with parkour momentum and stamina timing - it is not just a damage buff, it changes how you approach crowd control on rooftops and in tight corridors. The armor skin is purely cosmetic, and Dying Light is a first-person game, so you are mostly dressing Crane up for cutscenes and inventory screen admiration. That is a very personal value judgement. The tactical aesthetic is coherent and well-textured, and if you are the type who screenshots their loadout, it delivers. If you are not, it delivers nothing. Who is this actually for? Players starting a new run who want a power-smoothed early game and a distinctive visual kit. It is also a reasonable pick for completionists building out their weapon collection. It is not for players who care about the crafting loop staying intact - the pre-made weapons short-circuit that in the opening hours. And it is absolutely not a substitute for the story DLCs like The Following, which is where the real narrative and world-expansion content lives for this franchise. The base game sits at Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam for good reason. Dying Light's parkour-melee hybrid holds up, and Techland's writing has more texture than the zombie-apocalypse genre usually bothers with. This bundle is a small cosmetic addendum to that experience. Worth considering if the price is low and you are already invested in the game. Easy to skip if you prioritise systems integrity over aesthetics. Monika, Scout Team

Veredicto de GamerScout

A niche gear pack worth grabbing cheap if you want a power-smoothed start, but skip it if crafting progression is what you play Dying Light for.
