If you already own Dying Light and The Following, this slim cosmetic DLC drops a scoped Marksman Rifle blueprint, a Gun Psycho outfit for Kyle Crane, and a Wasteland Cruiser buggy skin into your loadout. Small stuff, but the rifle earns its keep.

I'll be straight with you: the Gun Psycho Bundle is not a content expansion. There are no new zones, no story missions, no skill branches to theory-craft over at 2 a.m. What it adds to Dying Light's already dense survival sandbox is exactly three things - a Gun Psycho character outfit for Kyle Crane, a Marksman Rifle blueprint, and a Wasteland Cruiser paint job for the buggy introduced in The Following expansion. That's the whole package, and you should know that going in. With that caveat on the table, the Marksman Rifle is the one piece here worth talking about in mechanical terms. Dying Light's firearms are generally a desperation tool in the early game - loud, scarce on ammo, and liable to wake up every infected within two city blocks. The Marksman Rifle sidesteps some of that friction because it comes equipped with a reflex sight, making it one of the few assault-style rifles in the game that rewards precision over spray. For players who lean into ranged builds or simply want a reliable mid-range option for The Following's open countryside encounters, it fills a genuine gap. It does not reinvent the combat loop - Dying Light lives and dies on its parkour and melee crafting system - but it is a functional addition rather than a purely decorative one. The outfit and the buggy skin are honest-to-goodness cosmetics with zero gameplay impact. If you care about how Kyle Crane looks while vaulting off a rooftop into a cluster of Virals, the Gun Psycho gear has a distinct aesthetic. If you do not care about that, those two items will sit untouched. The Wasteland Cruiser skin is only relevant if you spend meaningful time in The Following's rural map, where buggy traversal is central. It looks fine. It drives exactly the same. Context matters here. The base game this DLC sits inside carries an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam with a Metacritic score of 87, and that reputation is well earned. Dying Light proper is one of the strongest first-person survival games of its generation - the day-night tension, the parkour skill tree, the weapon crafting and blueprint system, the four-player co-op all hold up years after release. This bundle does nothing to diminish that experience. It also does nothing to deepen it in any meaningful narrative or systemic way. It is a cosmetic micro-DLC with one functional weapon blueprint attached, and it requires both the base game and The Following expansion to function at all. Buy this if you are already deep into Dying Light, already own The Following, and want a scoped rifle variant plus a visual refresh for Crane and your buggy. Skip it if you are hoping for missions, new areas, or anything that moves the needle on your build. The game underneath it remains worth your time. This particular slice of it is a small garnish on an otherwise solid meal. Monika, Scout Team

Worth it only for committed Dying Light fans who own The Following and want a functional scoped rifle alongside two pure cosmetics.
