Acerca de DRAGON BALL Xenoverse 2 Pre-Order Bonus (DLC)
I'll be straight with you: this is a DLC pack that was designed to be given away for free to people who put a pre-order deposit down years ago. Bandai Namco simply re-listed it on the storefront so late buyers could fill the gap in their collection. That context matters enormously when you are deciding whether to add it to your cart. What you actually get is two things. First, a playable Goku Black sourced from Dragon Ball Super - the base version, not the Super Saiyan Rose form that came in a later paid DLC pack. The community has been blunt about this one: the pre-order Goku Black is considered the weaker iteration, and given that Xenoverse 2 PvP is already a playground of stamina-break abuse, infinite combo loops, and overpowered racial builds like three-bar Majins, a character widely described as undertuned is not going to make your ranked experience better. If you care about competitive play at all, this roster slot is not a meaningful addition. Second, you get the Tao Pai Pai Stick as a vehicle for flying around Conton City. It is a cosmetic travel option for the hub world. Players in the Steam community have noted that it handles worse than other vehicles and that once your custom Time Patroller unlocks free flight, there is essentially no reason to use any vehicle at all. That is the honest ceiling of what this content delivers. The base game itself - Xenoverse 2 - is a different conversation entirely. It received a free next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X/S in May 2024, and the Parallel Quests, Instructor training system, and Cross Versus multiplayer mode give it genuine legs for Dragon Ball fans. The No-Level PvP mode, which strips stat advantages and forces pure mechanical skill, is a smart addition that makes the game worth learning even years after launch. The broader DLC ecosystem, including the season passes and extra packs, is where the real content investment lives. This specific pre-order bonus pack is not that. It is a collector's checkbox. If you are building a complete Xenoverse 2 library on Xbox and the gap bothers you, fine. If you are buying it expecting a meaningful combat or progression boost, you will be disappointed. The one Steam review it has is positive, but one review from one person is not a signal worth acting on.
