Derpy pirates!

I've played enough couch co-op games to know when something prioritizes fun over polish, and Derpy Pirates nails that sweet spot. You're flying around as Captain Bazaar's crew in physics-heavy ship sections that feel less like a racing sim and more like trying to steer a drunken tugboat with your mates. The appeal is pure: local multiplayer chaos, minimal setup, and the kind of jank that becomes the joke when you've got three people yelling at the screen. It's not trying to be Crash Team Racing or Sea of Thieves. The adventure wrapper is thin, the graphics are intentionally goofy, and the controls reward practiced timing over sim-like precision. For sub-5-dollar territory, this is exactly the kind of game you grab when someone brings a controller over and you need something to trash-talk through for an hour. Solo play exists but feels like a warm-up lap. Multiplayer is where the derpy magic happens.
