The honest caveat is that this pass launched in February 2024 with content still on a release schedule stretching into 2025, so early buyers were effectively pre-purchasing. By now, the core drops are complete, making the bundle a cleaner proposition than it was at launch. The base game's visual fidelity remains a weak point that no DLC addresses: textures are functional rather than impressive, pop-in is visible, and the voice acting in campaign missions is notoriously wooden. None of that is new information for fans of the series, and it does not meaningfully affect the mechanical satisfaction of operating licensed heavy equipment through a contract checklist. For the simulation-minded player, the depth here is less about branching strategy and more about mastering individual machine operations and job sequencing. That makes it narrower in decision-making space than a Paradox title, but the licensed roster fidelity and co-op support give it staying power with a specific audience. If you already own the base game and have been cherry-picking individual packs, the bundled discount makes this the more rational purchase once all drops are live.
