Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - 5000 Points
A 5000 CP bundle for one of the most divisive CoD releases in years: the multiplayer has legs, but the rest of the package is hard to defend at full price.
Veredicto de GamerScout
Worth it only if you are already sold on MW3 multiplayer and want cosmetic currency to go with it.

Acerca de Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - 5000 Points
I've put enough hours into the franchise to know when Activision is asking you to pay full price for what should have been a content drop, and MW3 2023 sits uncomfortably close to that line. The core multiplayer is genuinely fast and functional. Slide cancelling is back, movement has tightened up from MW2 2022, and the return of classic maps like Terminal and Rust gives 6v6 a pulse. The time-to-kill sits slightly longer than older entries, which splits the community right down the middle: movement-focused players who can abuse the tac-sprint and slide mechanics will eat that up; casual players who can't match the pace will get farmed and blame the netcode. Speaking from the shooter-focused side, the gunfeel is solid, the weapon platform carry-over from MW2 2022 means your loadouts are largely intact, and cross-platform multiplayer keeps lobbies populated. That part works. The campaign does not. Reports that MW3 started life as a DLC feel credible the moment you load it up. The Open Combat Missions, which swap linear set-pieces for sandboxed Warzone-adjacent objectives, are a misfire. They pad runtime without adding tension. The story wraps up years of Task Force 141 build-up in a way that's hard to take seriously, and the whole thing can be cleared in a sitting. If you were hoping MW3 would finally stick the landing on the rebooted trilogy's narrative, adjust those expectations now. Zombies ships in MW3 as an open-world survival mode rather than the classic round-based format, and community reaction to that decision has been mixed at best. The mode had rough technical performance at launch, with crashes and server instability frustrating players in the early months. It has stabilised since, but the lack of round-based structure and the absence of a coherent seasonal story left a chunk of the Zombies audience cold. What it does do is double as an XP farm for the multiplayer weapon grind, which at least gives it utility even if it lacks soul. So what does the 5000 Points bundle actually buy you? Cosmetic currency: operator skins, weapon blueprints, store bundles. If you are already playing MW3 and the multiplayer is your thing, CP purchases make sense in context. Loadout blueprints can come with tuned attachment configurations worth inspecting, though none of them bypass the underlying weapon balance. If you are on the fence about MW3 itself, the points bundle is a secondary decision, not a first one. Sort out whether the multiplayer loop is worth your time before spending on cosmetics. The 44% positive Steam score is a fair reflection of the whole package but is arguably too harsh a verdict on the multiplayer alone, which holds up better than critics suggest when you are in a good lobby with friends.
