Assetto Corsa Competizione is already one of the most technically demanding GT racing sims on PC, and the 24H Nürburgring Pack is exactly the kind of DLC that rewards the players already deep in its ecosystem. This pack adds the full Nürburgring 24-hour combined circuit layout, stitching together the GP circuit and the Nordschleife-adjacent sections used for the actual endurance race. If you know that race, you know what this means. If you don't, just understand that it's long, technical, punishing, and brilliant. Let me be straight with you on who this is for. Assetto Corsa Competizione is a sim racer's sim racer. The tyre model, the wet weather physics, the way a GT3 car loads up through Kesselchen at 4am in the rain - none of that is casual-friendly. There is no assist slider that turns this into something you can pick up drunk on a Saturday night with three mates on the couch. Split-screen is not a feature here. This is a wheel-and-pedals game, ideally with a decent direct-drive or belt-drive setup. A gamepad works but you will be fighting the physics in a way that just isn't fun for long sessions. HOTAS users, wrong category entirely. What the pack does really well is deliver that specific Nürburgring atmosphere. The circuit is modeled with Kunos's usual obsession over surface detail, camber changes, and real-world track data. Pairing it with the GT3 and GT4 machinery already in ACC means you can run proper endurance configurations with fuel strategies, tyre degradation, and dynamic weather cycles that actually change grip levels lap by lap. The day-night transition on a long race here is genuinely one of the more impressive things current sim racing has to offer visually. The criticisms worth knowing: the AI in ACC has always been a bit hit-or-miss at the start of long races, particularly on circuits with tricky entry points where bunching happens. Multiplayer via the official servers is competitive but can feel intimidating for newcomers without a safety rating built up. The onboarding for new ACC players is thin. If this pack is your entry point into the game, be ready to spend time in practice sessions before you feel remotely competent - which, honestly, is part of the appeal for the audience this is aimed at. For existing ACC owners who haven't picked this up: the Nürburgring combined layout is the centrepiece of real-world GT endurance racing and having it in ACC with the proper physics model is a strong argument. It is not a casual add-on. It is more track for more laps for more suffering and that is entirely the point.
