I wouldn't buy this primarily for story, but if you like the world, the added context is a genuine bonus rather than a checkbox. The honest caveat is that hero pack DLC for a game like this is inherently niche. If you haven't played Across the Obelisk, this is not your entry point - it's pure roster expansion for existing fans. The dynamic skin is a cosmetic flourish that long-session players will appreciate more than occasional ones. And with no Metacritic score and no Steam review volume available at time of writing, there's no community consensus yet on how Nenukil's kit balances against the existing heroes at higher difficulty tiers, which is where ATO's real test lives. For dedicated ATO players who run regular co-op sessions and want fresh build variety, Nenukil looks like a worthwhile addition. For solo players who have already explored most of the roster, the debuff-pet mechanic is an intriguing enough angle to justify a look, especially if the Scout class has gaps in your current rotation.
