TALE OF IMMORTAL
A sandbox immortality sim rooted in Chinese mythology that lets you chart your own cultivation path, but expect janky systems and patience-testing progression.
GamerScout Verdict
Niche sandbox with an inspired premise, hamstrung by janky UI and opaque progression systems that demand patience most players won't have.

About TALE OF IMMORTAL
I spent a few hours with Tale of Immortal expecting a narrative-driven immortal's journey and instead found a mechanics-heavy sandbox where you're grinding cultivation, managing sect politics, and fighting procedurally-flavored monsters from classical Chinese texts. The premise is genuinely cool: you pick your path (martial arts, alchemy, romance, spiritualism), and the game theoretically lets you ignore the story entirely. The problem is the UI feels unpolished, tutorials are minimal, and the progression curve demands either deep system knowledge or wiki-diving to enjoy yourself. Character relationships exist but feel thin compared to what the setup promises. If you're the type who reads cultivation webnovels and wants to live that sandbox fantasy, the bones are here. If you want a tightly-written story with meaningful choices and character arcs, keep looking. It's a niche game for a niche audience, and even within that audience it's rough around the edges.
