About Mr Trials
I picked up Mr Trials expecting a chill stunt-bike game, and that's exactly what I got. You're pulling wheelies and landing tricks across straightforward levels, each one a short test of timing and balance. Controller feels responsive, achievements give you stuff to chase, and it runs without fuss on modest hardware. Cloud saves mean your progress follows you across devices, which is nice for a pickup-and-play title. Here's the thing though: there's not much underneath. Stages blur together, there's no multiplayer to justify a Saturday night session, and the trick variety is thin. It's inoffensive and functional, but it's also forgettable. If you want a five-minute palate cleanser between heavier games, sure, grab it. If you're hunting your next obsession, keep looking. Riley, Scout Team
