Homebrew: Patent Unknown

I went in expecting a cozy building game. What I found was a physics playground with serious mechanical depth. You design vehicles from scratch, tweaking weight distribution and engine power, then actually drive them online against other players. The creation tools are genuinely open-ended, but yeah, there's a wall. First-time builders will spend an hour figuring out why their contraption nosedives into the dirt. Once it clicks, though, you're hooked: the satisfaction of nailing a lap in a vehicle *you* engineered from parts beats any stock car. The multiplayer is where this lives or dies. Racing your ridiculous creations against friends works, and the game still runs despite the devs shifting to maintenance mode. Controller support is partial, so wheel players might hit friction. Expect a niche crowd, but if you've got patience and an afternoon to burn tuning a jet-powered toilet, this delivers weird fun that most racing games won't touch.
