About Gear Gauntlet
I'll be honest: Gear Gauntlet isn't a racing game in any traditional sense. It's a 2D arcade challenge where you pilot a coloured shape through increasingly brutal obstacle courses, using boost, teleport, reverse and rotation mechanics to survive. Think more Flappy Bird frustration than Gran Turismo. The leaderboard chasing and arcade rhythm are solid, and controller support makes it couch-friendly enough for a quick session. But here's the catch: this is pure trial-and-error memorization. Difficulty spikes hard, and patience wears thin fast. It's fun for arcade purists and pattern-recognition enthusiasts, less so if you want any racing DNA or forgiving difficulty curves. Good for a Friday night warm-up before heavier games, not a main event. Riley, Scout Team
