About Crazy Derby Racing
I fired up Crazy Derby Racing expecting a destructive racing romp, and what I got was a stripped-down experience that nails the premise but undershoots the execution. You're piloting either a Formula 1 or sports car through low-poly environments designed for collisions, with no complex tuning or licensed teams to worry about. The damage model is the star here: cars crumple and deform on impact, which is genuinely satisfying for a few laps. The problem is the lack of depth. Single-player racing modes feel thin, there's no multiplayer to justify the "party game" potential, and the AI doesn't put up much of a fight. It's a 2021 indie title that feels more like a proof-of-concept for a physics engine than a complete racer. Fun for 20 minutes, forgettable after that. Riley, Scout Team
