Winter Whiskers

Winter Whiskers strips the typical town-restoration sim down to its core loop: suck up snow, convert it to steam, route power to frozen buildings. There's minimal strategy here, no resource management sprawl, no competing priorities, no branching tech trees. What you get instead is tactile, physics-adjacent puzzle-solving with a genuinely pleasant aesthetic. The neighbor quests are light flavor text, not meaningful choices. For someone craving a chillaxing evening without spreadsheets or failure states, that's exactly the point. The catch: this is a 2-3 hour game positioned as a casual sandbox. There's no late-game, no replayability hooks, no reason to return after the Winter Festival wraps. Controller support is here, the achievements are there, but the design is unapologetically thin. If you're hunting cozy games to sink serious time into, look elsewhere. If you want to help a cartoon town thaw out on a lazy afternoon, Winter Whiskers won't waste your money, just don't expect it to stick around.
