Sally's chapter in particular is the kind of tightly focused, morally complicated storytelling that small studios occasionally nail when they stop trying to compete with open-world giants and just tell the story they actually want to tell. If you approach We Happy Few as a flawed narrative experience with survival trappings rather than a survival game with story wrapping, your mileage improves considerably.
