The catch is early access roughness. Tutorials are thin, pacing drags, and the horror elements feel disconnected from the strategic layer rather than integrated. Patch frequency has been glacial since 2017, which matters for a game this niche. It's a bold idea executed with visible constraint, not incompetence.
