Acerca de DINO MERCS
I went in expecting either a gimmick or a hidden gem. Dino Mercs is neither, but it lands closer to the latter. You're building decks run-by-run as a Dark Solar Defense operative, mixing dinosaur units with tactical card plays across procedurally-shuffled operations. The deckbuilding loop has teeth: synergies matter, scaling pathways branch early, and bad luck can collapse a run faster than poor sequencing. Where it stumbles is polish. The UI doesn't sing, tutorial pacing feels rushed, and the board combat can feel disconnected from the cards you're holding. For a sub-5-dollar indie with zero hype, though, the core loop is solid enough to keep you playing until you crack a build that clicks. Best suited for deckbuilding enthusiasts who don't mind rougher presentation or players hunting for low-stakes strategy reps. Don't expect Slay the Spire refinement, but the dinosaur PMC angle at least carves its own weird niche.
