That is the one area where the digital version genuinely adds decision-making rather than just removing cardboard. For the strategy-brained player looking at this as a solo experience, the AI runs on multiple difficulty settings and does not simply fold. It won't redefine your concept of opponent intelligence, but it is consistent and does not telegraph its deductions in obvious ways. The main limitation solo is that the single board in the base package (Tudor Mansion) gets familiar fast, and most cosmetic alternatives are behind paid DLC or a season pass.
