The retro film-noir aesthetic is consistent, and the single-playthrough structure respects your time. The catch: this isn't a strategy sim in the traditional sense. It's closer to a visual novel with gating mechanics. If you're hunting for build variety or emergent systems, move on. If you want a tightly written story about survival and moral compromise in a corrupt city, told through the mundane lens of a bar bouncer paying off debts, Bouncer Story delivers on its premise without overstaying its welcome.
