Acerca de BOT.vinnik Chess: Prodigies
I went in expecting a structured chess course. BOT.vinnik offers something narrower: a database of famous games played by young chess prodigies, with the ability to replay positions and see annotations. It's presentational rather than instructional. You're watching history, not being taught principles. The core issue is lack of interactivity. There's no puzzle mode, no strength-calibrated opponents, no forced variations to test understanding. If you already know chess fundamentals, this becomes static museum browsing. For absolute beginners, the game commentary assumes prior knowledge of notation and tactical concepts. The interface is functional but sparse. It works as a supplementary tool for players who want to study famous games, but it doesn't replace a proper training suite.
