Embark Studios is clearly not taking its foot off the gas when it comes to keeping ARC Raiders fair for everyone. Just days after the team celebrated a noticeable drop in suspicious player accounts, a fresh item duplication exploit popped up, and it was already fixed before most players even had time to complain about it.
That kind of response speed matters a lot in an extraction shooter where your loot is your progress. Duplication exploits are basically economy poison, they devalue the grind for legitimate players and hand cheaters a massive leg up in gearing up fast. The fact that Embark caught this, patched it, and moved on without it becoming a week-long community fire is genuinely encouraging. It suggests there are decent detection pipelines running in the background rather than the team relying purely on player reports. Two exploits squashed in quick succession isn't a great look on paper, but the turnaround time tells a more optimistic story about where the studio's priorities are sitting right now.
