About The Crew™ Motorfest | Year 1 Pass (DLC)
Let's be straight about what this is: a DLC vehicle bundle, not a new game mode or a story expansion. The Crew Motorfest Year 1 Pass packages together the cars, bikes, and machines that were drip-fed across the first three seasonal updates, handing them to you in one shot rather than unlocking them piecemeal. If you missed the live season content or picked up the base game late, this is the catch-up ticket. If you already own the seasonal content, there is nothing new here for you. The 25 vehicles span the kind of range Motorfest does well: high-end hypercars rubbing shoulders with vintage muscle and off-road beasts, each tuned to slot into specific Playlists on the game's Oahu map. Ivory Tower's vehicle feel has always leaned toward the accessible end of the sim-arcade dial, which means these new additions are genuinely fun to throw around without needing a wheel setup. Gamepad players will feel right at home, and if you do have a wheel and pedals you can get a bit more out of the handling model, but it is not punishing if you're on a standard controller. For the multiplayer crowd, more vehicles means more variety in the Summit events and the open-world cruises you run with friends online. Motorfest supports online co-op and PvP, so having a broader garage does matter when you're trying to hit specific class requirements or just showing up to a crew night with something fresh. That said, this is strictly online multiplayer - there is no split-screen, so the "four friends on the couch" scenario does not apply here at all. Worth knowing before you buy. The honest caveat: Motorfest runs on Ubisoft's online infrastructure and requires a Ubisoft account, which adds a layer of friction some players find annoying. The base game also leans into live-service mechanics and in-app purchases beyond this pass, so factor that into your overall budget thinking. The Year 1 Pass itself does not change the game's structure, it just widens your garage options within the existing framework. Bottom line for who this is for: returning players who want to fill gaps in their collection from the first year of seasonal content, or newcomers buying a complete-ish package alongside the base game. If you're only dipping toes in to see if Motorfest is worth it, start with the base game first. Riley, Scout Team
