Thirteen extra stages across the full world calendar plus three concept cars -- solid value for WRC 5 owners who want more mileage from a flawed-but-fun rally game.

My honest take on this Season Pass is that its value lives or dies on how much you already like WRC 5 itself -- and that base game is a genuinely mixed bag. Kylotonn was a first-timer with the WRC licence, and critics at the time landed on a pretty consistent verdict: approachable and fun, but rough around the edges in ways that seasoned rally fans will feel every time they clip an invisible object or wince at the co-driver audio. If you are already in that camp and still loading it up for Quick Stage runs, this pass is a decent excuse to keep going. What the Season Pass actually delivers is 13 new special stages spread across the full real-world WRC calendar -- Monte Carlo, Sweden, Mexico, Argentina, Portugal, Sardinia, Poland, Finland, Germany, Australia, France, Catalunya, and Wales Rally GB. Those stages arrive split across two packs (the first launched December 2015, the second in April 2016), and all content is playable in both Quick Rally and Quick Stage modes. You also get three WRC Concept Cars: the E1, the E2, and the eSports Edition variant that was exclusive to the Season Pass bundle. None of these are simulation-grade fantasy machines, but they add a bit of character to the garage and work fine as time-trial toys. From a hardware perspective, WRC 5 on PC eventually received several patches adding wheel support -- Logitech G25, G920, Fanatec ClubSport units among them -- along with triple-screen support and force-feedback fixes. That said, community chatter as recently as 2025 still mentions steering wheels that simply refuse to cooperate, so if you are planning to play on a proper rig, check your specific wheel model against the supported list before committing. Gamepad play is the safer bet here; the handling leans arcade-adjacent rather than hardcore sim, which actually makes it more accessible for casual sessions. The core game has no split-screen couch co-op -- rally games rarely do -- so the "fun for four friends" test really comes down to passing-the-pad Quick Stages and comparing leaderboard times online. For that use case the extra 13 stages genuinely add variety. The eSports championship integration that was the marketing centrepiece of this DLC has long since wound down, so do not factor that in as a living feature. Bottom line: this is a content pack for people who already enjoy WRC 5, not a fix for its underlying problems. The stage count is generous, the concept cars are a fun bonus, and the price has dropped to bargain territory over the years. If the base game clicks with you, the Season Pass is the easiest way to stretch it. Riley, Scout Team
