Acerca de Guild Wars 2: Complete Collection Standard (DLC) Official website Key
Guild Wars 2: Complete Collection is the all-in-one entry point for ArenaNet's action MMO set in Tyria, bundling the three major expansions - Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, and End of Dragons - alongside Living World Seasons 2 through 5, the episodic story chapters that bridge each expansion's narrative. If you have been circling GW2 for a while and already know you want the full experience, this is the sensible way in rather than drip-buying content piecemeal. The core of GW2 is an action-combat MMO that ditches the holy trinity and the subscription fee in the same breath. Combat is positional and dodge-driven, built around eight base professions - Guardian, Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Elementalist, Mesmer, Thief, Engineer - and the Revenant added in Heart of Thorns. Each profession plays completely differently because the skill bar is built around weapon choice and profession mechanics rather than a generic hotbar. The Complete Collection is where that system really opens up: elite specializations, one per expansion per profession, rewrite how a class feels to play. The Chronomancer turns the Mesmer into a time-manipulating support monster. The Reaper drags the Necromancer into melee with a greatsword and a permanent scythe shroud. Build variety past level 40 is genuinely deep, and the community's theorycrafting scene is active enough that you will never run out of optimization rabbit holes if that is your thing. The expansion arc delivers meaningfully different open-world experiences. Heart of Thorns sends you into the dense, vertical Maguuma Jungle to confront the elder dragon Mordremoth - the maps here are beloved for their layered design and punishing meta-events, though the difficulty spike catches new players off guard. Path of Fire swaps jungle for the Crystal Desert, introduces the full mount roster (raptor, springer, skimmer, jackal, griffon), and completely changes how traversal feels. End of Dragons lands in Cantha, adds fishing, skiffs, the turtle mount, and nine new elite specializations, and is widely considered the most story-complete chapter of the elder dragon arc. Living World seasons fill the gaps with voiced story instances, new zones, and bridging lore - quality is uneven across seasons, and some of the later episodes lean on combat encounters that drag on longer than they should, but the good ones (Season 3 and Season 4 in particular) deliver some of GW2's best character writing. The elephant in the room: GW2's narrative writing is competent genre fare, not Disco Elysium. Choices rarely alter outcomes in any structural way, and the personal story's "commander" protagonist is deliberately blank. What the game does better than most MMOs is world texture - the ambient dialogue, the renown heart flavor, the way dynamic events build a sense of a living world without forcing you into quest hubs. The endgame instanced content includes Raids, Strike Missions, and Fractals (short, modular mini-dungeons with scaling challenge), all of which reward coordinated play and tight builds. WvW, the large-scale World vs. World PvP mode, is its own time sink with a dedicated player base. One honest caveat: this specific bundle, as of its release date, covers Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, End of Dragons, and Living World Seasons 2-5. The fifth expansion, Janthir Wilds (released August 2024), which introduces Homesteads, spears as a universal weapon type, and a new raid wing, is a separate purchase. If you are coming in fresh, the Complete Collection still represents a massive content library - hundreds of hours before Janthir Wilds becomes relevant - but know that the newest story chapter is not included here.
