Fortnite - The Batman Who Laughs Outfit (DLC)
If you play Fortnite and you have any pull toward DC's darker corners, this three-piece cosmetic set is one of the sharper villain skins the Item Shop has ever stocked. Pure cosmetic, zero gameplay change - know that going in.

Acerca de Fortnite - The Batman Who Laughs Outfit (DLC)
I spend a lot of time thinking about whether cosmetics in competitive shooters are worth the slot they occupy in your mental budget, and most of the time the answer is: not really. The Batman Who Laughs is one of the exceptions I'll actually defend out loud. The skin draws from Scott Snyder's Dark Multiverse storyline - a Bruce Wayne who got hit with Joker Venom and kept the cowl - and whoever at Epic handled the character model clearly understood the source material. The silhouette reads instantly in a third-person lobby: spiked visor, shredded cape, the general vibe of something gone very wrong in Gotham. It holds up at the kill-cam distance that actually matters. The bundle that ships with this DLC key contains three items: The Batman Who Laughs Outfit, the Robin's Perch Back Bling, and the Dark Days Loading Screen. The back bling is thematically tight - a manic little reference to the character's history with Robin - and the loading screen is legitimately atmospheric rather than the generic splash art Epic sometimes phones in. What you do NOT get here is the Wings of Madness glider or the Death Metal Scythe harvesting tool, both of which are sold separately through the Item Shop. If you want the full Dark Multiverse set, budget accordingly. One thing worth flagging: this skin originated as a comic tie-in. The Batman/Fortnite: Foundation one-shot from October 2021 shipped with a redeemable code that unlocked this exact bundle, which means the DLC key you're buying here is effectively a digital version of that same redemption path - without needing to track down a physical comic. The skin has cycled back through the Item Shop multiple times since launch, so it is not vaulted, but availability is irregular and the rotation gap averages out to several months between appearances. From a pure gameplay standpoint there is nothing here that affects your shots, your build speed, your movement, or your zero-build positioning. Fortnite cosmetics are entirely visual. What the skin does affect is presence - and in a game where you get third-partied by players who can read your character outline, a darker, visually complex skin with a black-and-grey palette is at minimum not a disadvantage on most POIs. Whether that counts as value is a personal call. Bottom line: this is a well-executed licensed cosmetic aimed squarely at DC fans and Fortnite collectors who want something with genuine comic-canon weight behind it, not just a random collab cash-in. If you are already active in Fortnite and the character resonates with you, the set holds its visual quality. If you are on the fence about whether Fortnite is still worth your time as a shooter, this DLC does nothing to answer that question - that conversation lives in the base game, not the locker.
