The episode throws us right into new territory - literally and figuratively. There's this whole thing with ancient magic that actually makes sense in the Primal universe. Wild, right?
What really got me was how they handled Fang's reaction to everything. You'd expect endless moping, but instead we get pure dinosaur determination. And those action sequences? Still brutal as ever. The animation team clearly didn't slack off just because they're dealing with supernatural stuff now.
Look, I'll admit I was skeptical when they announced a third season. How do you follow up that emotional gut-punch of an ending? Turns out you lean into the weird and trust your audience to come along for the ride. Two episodes in and Primal's already proven it's not here to play it safe in 2026.
