So GTA 6 pre-orders are live, and surprise surprise, there's more than one way to hand Rockstar your money. You've got the standard edition for players who just want the game, full stop, no extras attached. Then there's the upgraded tier that bundles in bonus content, early access perks, and the kind of digital goodies that sound exciting in a bullet-point list and then mostly sit untouched once you're 40 hours deep into Leonida. The top-tier ultimate version throws in everything the mid-tier has plus more, presumably for the crowd who wants to feel maximally prepared before the servers inevitably buckle on launch day.
Honestly, for most people the standard edition is probably the smart call. GTA games have a long shelf life and Rockstar will drip out content for years, so anything locked behind a premium edition now will likely find its way into the game's ecosystem eventually anyway. The exception is if you're absolutely certain you'll be playing day one and want every possible head start in GTA Online, where early bonuses can genuinely matter. If you're the type who waits for reviews, patches, and maybe a modest sale, there's no shame in holding off entirely. The game isn't going anywhere.
