Fire Emblem Path of Radiance: How to Get Every Single Character

Someone finally put together the ultimate recruitment guide for Path of Radiance. And honestly? Some of these are way trickier than I remembered.

So here's the thing about Fire Emblem games - missing out on recruitable characters is basically a rite of passage. But if you're diving back into Path of Radiance (or playing it for the first time), there's finally a comprehensive guide that'll help you snag everyone.

Path of Radiance has always been one of those games where recruitment feels extra cryptic. You've got characters who need specific people to talk to them, others who require you to visit random houses at just the right time, and don't even get me started on Stefan. That guy's practically hiding in another dimension. The new guide breaking all this down is honestly a godsend for anyone who doesn't want to replay Chapter 15 three times just because they forgot to have Lethe talk to Mordecai or whatever.

What really gets me is how some of these recruitments make zero sense without a guide. Like, why would anyone think to shove a unit into a specific corner of the map in Chapter 15? Or that you need to have Rolf talk to Shinon after he tries to murder you? GameCube-era Fire Emblem was wild with this stuff.

The timing couldn't be better either. With all the Fire Emblem remakes we've been getting, Path of Radiance feels like it's due for some love. And until Nintendo decides to actually give us that remake (come on, it's 2026 already), at least we can dust off our GameCubes or fire up our totally legal copies and experience the full roster. Just remember - save before every map. Trust me on this one.
